Abi, three weeks and a bit

IMG_0203This is Abi in happier days- I will post a post amputation pic of her later if all goes ok. She is now 3 weeks last Wednesday post amputation to to osteocarcoma. Front, left leg. All seemed well. But now worried. She started yelping when standing up. Vet can’t find an obvious reason except slight infection for which she now has a new batch of antibiotics. I read about phantom limb and thought it might be that but its the standing up that seems to cause it, so I am just grasping at possibilities.  She is now however also on gabapentin. So we are now regressing. She is back to being hand fed. Finger crossed for her.
