Yesterday I was really happy (just about singing and dancing). She ate all her food and then licked out Jack’s bowl. I was so pleased I took a photo! I also took a photo of her having a pee, but I wont post that! We went for a short walk.
Today she is not so hungry and is not drinking. I have mixed water with chopped chicken and posh tinned dog food. As she will take this I’m not too worried so long as it doesn’t get worse. Still need to keep fingers crossed.
We went for a short walk again today. And she’s been out to pee and poo, without yelping 🙂
Here she is:
Yay Abi. Way to go. Keep kicking butt girl

Okay sweet Ago…..I, think we overlooked a couple of important celebrations:-) 🙂
YAY! No yelpimg:-) 🙂 🙂
YAY! Popping and peeing just fime:-) 🙂
YAY! No puking which can sometimes happen after chemo!
YAY! Again for no yelping—that’s a good one:-) 🙂
YAY! We got to see photos of a really beautiful dog with a whole lot of elegance:-) 🙂 🙂
Chemo often Zappa’s them out and and makes them pretty lowenergy for a day or two and not crazy about eating. Did vet give out anti-nausea pills?
If side effects get noticeably worse, onco will adjust the ddosage on next visit.
Way to go Ago!!
Okay, let’s get back to that singing and dancing thing in the rain (scratch the rain–we’re thinking sunshine)!!
CELEBRATIONS GOING ON AS WE SPEAK:-) 🙂 YAY ABI AND MOM:-) 🙂
More photos sweet Ago…even Perot ones…..we love them all…..weird bunch, huh?

YAYYYYYYYY!!! That is awsome pawfect news!!!
Thank you Christine, Benny and Michelle. I had to go out to work for a few hours today. I have been trying to take time off for Abi but this was unavoidable. But when I came back Abi was excited (like the old Abi) and rushed out of the house, well, like a greyhound. I wish she wouldn’t do that – it scares me in case she hurts herself. She was fine of course.

Sally and Happy Hannah, No she doesn’t have anti-nausea pills, just apparently an anti-nausea injection on the first day. But the vet isn’t too far away if I have problems. With my last osteocarcoma dog it was a 2 hour drive but our local vet now has the facilities for carboplatin, and I am lucky as I trust them (they’ve even been on local tv: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01db926)
Awesome Abi! Keep fighting the fight and eat lots for your mom!
Great that your regular vet has facilities for the carbo.
Sooooo happy you got that exuberant greeting when you got home:-) 🙂 🙂
There may still be a “less good” moment here and there so don’t panic…..it’s all part of the healing process with chemo.
Just wat to add that this computer/tablet has a mind of it’s own…..I DO know sweet Abi ‘s name is Not Ago……type it right and then it just arbitrarily types a new name:-) 🙂 🙂 …….have no idea where when requesting more photos the word “perot ” CME up…..think I was trying to say photos of Abi peeing’ which I guess she has ow:-) 🙂
So happy for you that she’s all better:-) 🙂 hugs to both of you!!
Sally and Happy Hannah
Abi you are GORGEOUS!
What kind of posh food did you get? Yum!!!
I’m so glad that things are going well. I hope this weekend is even better, please keep us posted OK?
Thank you everybody- Abi is my sunshine girl. She is also getting a bit spoilt (and why not). Just hope she can keep going to make all her hard times worth while.
